How do those themes relate to your own experiences?
2. Watch a Horror or Psychological Thriller and Analyze Its Fears
Choose a horror film and take notes on what makes it unsettling.
What fears does the film explore (e.g., isolation, death, loss of control)?
Do any of these fears relate to your own anxieties or past experiences?
3. Write a Personal Reflection on a Redemption Arc
Pick a film with a strong redemption story.
How does the character overcome adversity?
Write about a time in your life when you faced hardship and how you grew from it.
4. Engage in Shadow Work Through Film Analysis
Choose a film with a morally complex protagonist (e.g., Joker, Taxi Driver).
Write about the character’s flaws and what makes them compelling.
Reflect on how aspects of their journey relate to your own inner struggles.
5. Use Film as Emotional Therapy
Select a movie that aligns with a personal struggle you’re facing.
Watch it intentionally, taking notes on how it makes you feel.
Afterward, write about what insights you gained and how you can apply them to your own life.
