It was the highlight of the year at the turn of the millennium! Hundreds of fans and practitioners of burlesque and exotic dancing descended on Exotic World in Hellendale, CA for their annual convention and show. There was nothing like it!
Dixie Evans, the pioneer who brought us Exotic World, has passed away and Exotic World is no more. At least not in Hellendale. The Burlesque Hall of Fame in Las Vegas now sponsors the annual contention in Sin City. Although Exotic World still survives in spirit, there was nothing like being in the hot desert, out doors, while the show commenced.
